with this annual award an individual whose extraordinary vision
and leadership have advanced the state’s image and its ability
to attract visitors to share its scenic beauty and natural wonders.
The 2010 Pioneer Award
was presented to West Virginia Tourism life-time achievement winner, Rod Stoner,, during Saturday evening’s celebratory dinner, which was a five course, wine-paired feast that was truly worthy of a four-star property, culminates with the announcement of the winner and presentation of awards.
The 2009 recipient, was First Lady, Gayle Manchin.
Chef Schrader presented an extraordinary menu for the gala.
