Loren is a West Virginia native and helped open the Charleston Marriott’s former Tarragon Room 25 years ago.

The Charleston Marriott Town Center’s Executive Chef is Loren Schrader. He is responsible for the hotel’s food preparations which include the properties’ flagship restaurant Whitewater Grille, Room Service, Catering and Conference meals. Loren came to Charleston Marriott after serving as Senior Sous Chef at the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington, Virginia. Loren is a West Virginia native and helped open the Charleston Marriott’s former Tarragon Room 25 years ago.
